GUIDANCE NOTES - PLEASE READ  

Your valued custom is important to us and we want to satisfy your purchasing requirements. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are important to you and to ROTTIGNI and should be considered carefully before you place an order with us. 
These Terms have been designed to protect your rights as a valued customer, to protect our rights as a business, and to create an understanding between us. 
Please note carefully the section which refers to our Returns Procedure.

GENERAL  
The Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions carried out on the ROTTIGNI website and through our mail order system. We will not be liable to you for any other claims which arise out of the supply of our products to you unless we are grossly negligent.
We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are grossly negligent, we will not be liable to you for losses as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
We will use all reasonable endeavours to carry out our obligations to you within a reasonable period of time but will not be liable to you, the buyer, for any loss, costs or expenses arising directly or indirectly from any delays in doing so and we will not be deemed to be in breach of our obligations to you by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of our obligations, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the following will be regarded as causes beyond our reasonable control Act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, War or threat of war, sabotage, civil disturbance or requisition, Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local authority, Import or export regulations or embargoes, Strikes, lock outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes, Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or machinery, Power failure or breakdown in machinery.

 

MAKING A PURCHASE
To make a purchase, you just need to sign-in your account with all your data necessary for the shipping of the items ordered. To buy as a Dealer or Gun shop, you need to sign-in as a Dealer in the dedicated area.

To sing-in please click on “Sign-in” and choose the right type of customer: Private or Dealer.

After you have registered, you will receive a welcome email confirming the acceptance of your account.

Please look into your SPAM, if you haven’t’ received the email in some minutes.

Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any item pictures that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart buy clicking on the green button. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be able to change the quantity or cancel the items in the shopping list.

 

All products are supplied subject to availability. Items available are identified with the word “AVAILABLE”. In the event that we are unable to supply any product, the word “NOT AVILABLE” will be shown, until the item is available again.

For some items regarding rare calibers and models, we will inform you if some additional days are needed.

Direct online purchase for some items subject to restrictions is not allowed. A specific purchase request must be sent to ensure that you comply with the correct requirements.

All necessary procedures to transfer or export and ship the product(s) to your country will be handled and implemented.
If the items included in the order are not allowed by your country, your order will be cancelled.

If some of the items included in your order are not allowed by your country, only these items will be cancelled from your order.

After having checked and verified the legality and enforceability for transferring or exporting and shipping to your country, you will be required to provide all the necessary documents to conclude your order.
The order will be confirmed, once all the necessary documents for the item(s) to be transferred are received. The payment will only be completed after the order is confirmed.

The Legislative Decree 9 April 2003, n. 70, the Legislative Decree 6 September 2005 n. 206 (the Consumer’s Code) the distance selling regulations as well as the European Community Directive 2003/31/UE implemented by the Italian Legislative Decree n. 70 dated 2013 provide the rules of e-commerce.

These conditions are subject to the Italian law and the jurisdiction of the Italian courts.

 PRICES AND PAYMENT
The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following exception. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. We are not obliged to provide a product to you at an incorrect (lower) price.
These prices exclude VAT and delivery costs.

For extra-European shipping, customs clearance and payment of duties are borne by the customer.

Payment can be made by any method specified in our Payment Options section.

We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are grossly negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you. 

 PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept:

  • Credit Cards (with the exception of American Express) as well as Debit Cards
  • PayPal payment
  • Wire transfer against purchase order. Bank details are as follows:

The wire transfer should be made within 2 days against purchase order.

Payment transactions are not subject to any fees pursuant to the art. 63 Legislative Decree 206/2005. 

 If you are unhappy with the replacement you can return it by contacting our Returns Team according to our Returns policy.

 RETURNS POLICY
We hope that you will be completely satisfied with your product. However, it may be necessary to return your product to us in some limited circumstances. Please ensure that you follow these instructions for returning a product to avoid a delay in processing your return.

Pursuant to the Legislative Decree 6 September 2005 n. 206 as well as to the European Community Directive 2011/83/UE implemented by the Italian Legislative Decree n. 21 dated February 2014, you have the chance to exercise the right of withdrawal:

 

  • If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to us in its original unopened condition within 14 days of receipt pursuant to the art. 52 of the Consumer’s Code of D. Lgs. n. 206/2005. Returned items should be unused and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation, and you will get its complete refund;
  • You will get no more than 70% refund of the value of the item purchased in case we receive the product opened and not in its original or delivered state;
  • We reserve the right to check a returned item when displays signs of use appreciably. ROTTIGNI will refund only part of the price corresponding to the product delivered or you will get no refund.

Refunds of returned goods will be made with the same method of payment used by you for the first purchase, with the exception the you will ask for a different method of payment; in this case, any payment fees will be at your charge.

 Please note:

  1. Goods will only be accepted for return if they are dispatched within 14 days of delivery, unless we have notified you otherwise;
  1. Refunds will be processed and a decision issued within fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of a product return or the day we confirm to you that you are entitled to a refund and refunds will not be issued until the product has been received by us in its original or delivered state.   1. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. You should return any product to us via Poste Italiane or by carrier to the address given above with suitable insurance based on the value of the product. This means that the full value may be recovered by you if the product is lost or damaged. You should retain any receipt confirming the return. If returned products are lost, we will not accept liability for them;
  1. You will be responsible for the cost of safe carriage back to us and you will bear the risk during carriage until the product is received by us, unless we agree to reimburse you elsewhere in these terms;
  2. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made.
  3. For all goods incorrectly sent by ROTTIGNI, the costs incurred for the shipping are at our charge or we will take care of the collection of goods at the address communicated by the customer. If we sent you the right item, shipping costs incurred are at your responsibility. If the item has been paid by credit card, you will get the refund on the same credit card used when paying the first order. No compensation for other orders or credit to the account are allowed.

 

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR FAULTY GOODS 

Any product supplied to you must be used for its intended purpose and not be subject to abuse or unreasonable usage. Damage to goods in postage can be claimed from the carrier's insurance.

We will repair or replace any product that has failed in normal usage and will reimburse the costs of returning the goods to us, and subsequently retuning the goods to you, as long as the product has been used as intended and does not, on examination, display any signs of misuse. If the product does display signs of misuse, then you will be responsible to pay our costs and expenses of examining the goods and subsequently, if you instruct us to, returning the goods to you.
